This series begins with dozens of obsessive landscape sketches which I created during Operation protective Edge – landscape that included tunnels leading to nowhere. The work was made by using old rubber printing plates of geographical maps. "The plate's surface – similar to the surface of a cast model, and similar to Israel's geographical surface – is cut by an arbitrary and detrimental border. The chaos involved in the cutting the surface by lines and hatching lines creates a multi-layered landscape and points of view that invade the depths of the soil.
